I started in the fitness world teaching high-energy group classes and personal training. For years I thrived on intensity, eventually teaching more than a dozen classes a week.
Later I shifted toward strength training and even stepped on stage as a bikini bodybuilding competitor.
But eventually my health changed. Chronic fatigue and inflammation led to a diagnosis of Crohn’s disease, forcing me to rethink how I approached training and recovery.
Yoga became the place where I rebuilt.
Slower, more intentional movement helped me develop a deeper understanding of strength, mobility, and how the nervous system responds to stress.
That experience reshaped the way I teach today.
