Pincha Mayurasana is a challenging pose that requires strength, coordination, and thoughtful preparation. This workshop approaches forearm balance as a trainable skill, with an emphasis on building the strength and coordination the pose requires rather than rushing toward the final shape.
The practice will break Pincha down step by step using smart preparation, strength drills, and accessible progressions. You will explore shoulder and upper-back strength for forearm weight-bearing, core organization for balance, and mobility work that supports stable inversion practice.
This workshop is appropriate for students who are newer to Pincha as well as those who have practiced it before but want more clarity and consistency. Options and variations will be offered throughout.
Participants should be comfortable bearing weight on the forearms. No prior inversion experience is required.
